The first season next year in Japan, the crude copper maybe the lowest

Japanese METI estimated that in the first season next year, Japanese crude copper need will decrease to 26 million tons. On an annual basis, crude copper needs has decreased 6.2%.
Japanese yen appreciation and Thailand flood disaster made a serious crash to Japanese steel industry, Nippon steel and JFE has be forced to reduce production. In addition, many Japanese auto fitting factories also reduce production in succession, so all of these elements are the main reason for steel industry slipping. Although Japanese economy has gradually recovered from 3.11 magnitude earthquake and tsunami, but the increasing trend if auto industry can't offset exportation gliding. It is estimated that the steel need of construction industry will increase 1.4% on an annual basis, which is 4.56 million tons. Auto industry will increase 55%,which is 3.27 million tons; mechanical increase 7.8%,which is 1.28 million tons. From next April, Japan earthquake rebuild work will start, so the steel needs is very obviously.
