Aluminum clad copper tube (ACC tube) is a composite tube featuring metallurgical bonding in the interface between aluminum and copper. The tube has an outer layer of antirust 3003 aluminum alloy and inner layer of oxygen-free copper. The copper-aluminum interface is in the form of metal bonding among atoms.
On cost performance, the same length and size tube, the weight of ACC tube is just the 40% of traditional copper tube, low cost helps to tube users take up the market. Replacing copper tube with ACC tube can help reduce copper consumption by over 80%. The inner copper layer has good corrosion-resistance and transfers many kinds of fluids in the same way as copper tube does. The outer antirust aluminum alloy layer can withstand atmospheric corrosion.
ACC tube combines the advantages of copper’s instantaneous heat-absorbing capacity with the ones of aluminum’s good radiating property, thus giving it an outstanding heat transfer property and making it a most suitable material for all kinds of radiators.
Alloy: 3003 Aluminum; Copper: T2 (C1100 in JIS; C11000 in ASTM) Out diameter: 6.35mm~19.05mm Wall thickness: 1.0mm~1.5mm
Application: Aluminum Clad Copper tube (called ACC tube) can be used in the fields of Air-conditioner, Refrigeration, Heat Exchanger, Solar water Heater and Water Pipe etc.
