US Imports of Nickel down 9.4% MoM, down 11.9% YoY
According to data released by the US Department of Commerce on March 11th, the US unprocessed non-alloy nickel imports in January were 6,548,646 kg, down 9.4% from the level of 7,224,251kg in December 2009 and down 11.9% from the level of 7,432,837kg in January 2009.

US Department of Commerce also announced that the US nickel exports in January were 850,374kg, down 8.0% from the level of 924,229kg in December 2009 and significantly up 252.1% from the level of 241,481 in January 2009.
