Tight Supply of Electric Power Exerts Limited Impact on Manganese Market Temporarily

A recent SMM survey on operating rates at EMM producers in regions of Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan and Chongqing reveals the following insights:

Operating rates remained at 56% in Guizhou due to negative impact of electric power restriction policy; operating rates at EMM producers in Guangxi were at only 54% due to high costs of electric power; operating rates were above 90% in Hunan and Xiushan. Overall operating rates throughout China were at 74%. Currently, supply of EMM was relatively ample in the market, and tight supply of electric power didn't exert significant negative impact on the supply of EMM temporarily.
