West Africa mine ore exploration

      AMI has been carrying first set of iron ore from from Tonkolili iron ore project.  This is the first time to carry out iron ore from sierra leone in the past 30 years. The first set of iron ore 40,000 tons has been turned to China Shandong steel group corporation. It means that after 14 month it has made some progress in railway and harbour ect infrastructure projects.

    AMI declaimed that at present they are dedicating in expanding Tonkolili's annual production. It is estimated that after 2013, the annual production wound reach 200 million tons.

    AMI CEO Frank Timis declaimed that this first loading wound be an important milestone for this project.,although some main expending is still going. AMI will be the largest mine ore export manufacturer in west Africa and world top export manufacturer after this project finish.

    Africa mining industry has subscribed a project contract about exploring Tonkolili with China fifth steel manufacturer Shandong steel corporation. Shandong steel corporation will invest 1.5 billion USD to this project, which takes an important roll in this project. At the same time, Shandong steel will get totally 10 million tons steel mine ore.
