Additional material is added in critical wear areas for extended life. The design safety factor and design verification of the elevator links conform to requirements of API Spec 8C, any elevator links are proof load tested to 1.5 times the working load.

Each drilling elevator links of one pair is marked with Serial Number for traceability.
