PDC Drill Bit (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact Bit) is a high-efficiency rock-breaking tool widely used in oil & gas drilling and geological exploration. Its core component is the PDC compact—a composite of polycrystalline diamond (top layer) and tungsten carbide (support layer)—sintered under high pressure and temperature. This design combines diamond’s extreme hardness (close to natural diamond) with carbide’s structural strength, enabling superior wear resistance and cutting efficiency.
