The 15-5PH/UNS S15500 also has low-temperature hardening, good processing performance, and excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for many industries. It can be processed in a solution annealed state or a final heat treated state. The strength and ductility of UNS S15500 can be enhanced by heating the material at different temperatures.
15-5PH/UNS S15500 is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. Martensitic stainless steel is designed to be corrosion-resistant and hardened through heat treatment.
