Shanghai Metal Corporation is an Alloy N155 welding wire manufacturer and supplier.
Alloy 155 welding wire is an nickel-based alloy with high strength resistance up to 815°C (1500° F). It can withstand moderate loads at temperatures of 1093°C (2000°F). It has good antioxidant properties at high temperatures and good corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid (at room temperature) and nitric acid. The high-temperature strength of this alloy comes from its chemical composition, not from age hardening. The performance of Alloy 155 during mechanical processing using traditional methods is similar to that of austenitic 300 series stainless steel, and it has good ductility. Alloy N155 is used in a number of aerospace applications such as tailpipes and tail cones, turbine blades, shafts and rotors, afterburner components and high-temperature bolts.
