With good thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength and low cost, they are suitable for solid, liquid and powder samples. Aluminium crucibles can withstand temperatures up to 640°C. They are lightweight and have excellent thermal conductivity, ensuring low temperature gradients and avoiding false peaks that interfere with measurement results. The flat bottom design reduces heat transfer errors and improves measurement accuracy.
During DSC and TGA measurements, crucibles ensure that the sensor is not contaminated during the measurement process. The type of crucible used for measurement has a significant impact on the quality of the results obtained and also affects important characteristics of the test unit. Considering the relevant factors before measurement usually helps to save time in subsequent curve analysis.
