The choice of the type of base metal and the weight of coating should be determined in accordance with the usage, environmental corrosion, service life and durability. In the areas of severe industrial or humid coastal area, the prepainted coil with zinc coating weight more than 180 g/m^2 should be used. In the humid coastal area, the higher durability prepainted coil such as PVDF, HDP and duraking series should be adopted; in the seriously polluted industrial area, not only the corrosion resistance but also the pollution resistance should be taken into account.
