Shanghai Metal Corporation is a leading nickel crucibles manufacturer and supplier.

Nickel crucible is a seamless vessel made of high purity nickel. It is applied for sample alkali fusion pretreatment in geological, soil, mineral and refractory material analysis. It can withstand molten alkaline reagents including NaOH, Na₂O₂, Na₂CO₃ and alkaline fluxes mixed with KNO₃, avoiding sample contamination caused by strong alkali corrosion. This crucible cannot work with acid fluxes such as KHSO₄, NaHSO₄, K₂S₂O₇, sulfur-containing sulfide fluxes or borax. Its maximum safe operating temperature is 700℃, though nickel melts at 1455℃. Operation above 700℃ causes nickel oxidation and shortens service life. Contact with molten Al, Zn, Pb, Sn or Hg will embrittle the crucible. It is not fit for precipitate calcination. A new nickel crucible needs pre-treatment: heat in muffle furnace to remove surface grease, boil in 1:20 hydrochloric acid, then rinse thoroughly before first use. Trace chromium exists in the material, which should be considered during element testing.

3. Dual Surface Options Supplies polished surface or matte annealed surface for selection, allows customers to match different cleaning requirements and repeated high-temperature test frequency.

4. Controlled High Purity Material Adopts nickel raw material with Ni ≥99.99%, low trace impurity release, reduces interference for elemental analysis in geological and soil sample detection.

5. Pouring Lip Design Comes with integrated pouring lip on the crucible rim, enables smooth transfer of molten melt and avoids sample loss when pouring out fused samples.

1. Geological Mineral Analysis Used for alkali fusion digestion of rock and mineral samples in geological laboratories. Its strong resistance to molten alkali avoids vessel corrosion during sample decomposition. 30ml nickel crucible

2. Soil Element Detection Applied to pretreatment of soil samples for heavy metal and element testing. The high-purity nickel material minimizes impurity interference on test results. 30ml, 50ml or 100ml crucible with matched nickel cover is recommended.

3. Refractory Material Test Used to fuse refractory and clay samples for composition analysis. Seamless structure prevents leakage under high-temperature alkaline melting environment. Matte surface crucible is preferred for frequent repeated heating.

4. Ferroalloy & Slab Composition Testing For sample melting and decomposition of iron alloy and slag. It can work with alkaline fluxes such as NaOH and Na₂O₂. 50ml pouring lip nickel crucible fits larger sample loading.

Packaging of Nickel crucible:

Standard Packaging

Each nickel crucible is wrapped with pearl cotton individually, then set into custom foam trays for shock resistance.

The foam trays are packed into fumigated wooden cases for bulk shipment. For small quantities, products packed with pearl cotton can be shipped directly by air express without wooden cases.

We support FCL and LCL sea freight, air freight and express delivery depending on order quantity and destination.

Available trade terms: EXW / FOB / CFR / CIF.
