Titanium and titanium alloy crucibles are critical containment components in the fields of high-temperature metallurgy, high-purity material smelting, and specialty glass manufacturing. They are manufactured from high-purity commercially pure titanium (TA1, TA2) or specialized titanium alloys (such as Ti-Pd alloy) through precision forging, spinning, or welding processes, resulting in high-purity, high-temperature-resistant, and thermal-shock-resistant thin or thick-walled cup-shaped structures. Capacity ranges from a few milliliters to several hundred liters.
These crucibles perform key process functions, including containing and refining high-temperature molten metals, purifying highly reactive rare-earth materials, melting optical glass with high purity, facilitating synthesis reactions of semiconductor materials, and ensuring chemical stability in high-temperature corrosive environments.
