The combustion temperature of the underwater cutting lance is approximately 6000°C (10,000 ° F), which can easily cut or melt any known material. It can support low-current combustion, requiring only oxygen and 150 amperes. The underwater cutting lance can be ignited by a spark generated by a 12 or 24-volt automatic or marine battery pack. Once ignited, as long as there is an oxygen flow supply, it will burn without electricity, which reduces the need for expensive support equipment and maintains a safer diving environment. The operating principle after ignition is to allow oxygen to flow downward through the center of the gun, generating and maintaining an exothermic reaction. During operation, it can be bent by 90 degrees or more to approach hard-to-reach areas without restricting oxygen flow or causing the insulation layer to crack or peel off.
