Standard Packaging
Each stainless steel coil is wrapped with waterproof plastic film and heavy-duty anti-rust kraft paper, then reinforced with steel strapping and edge protectors. Products are securely placed on fumigated wooden pallets or in sturdy wooden crates to ensure maximum protection against moisture and damage during long-distance maritime transit.
Shipping
We support FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) sea freight, air freight, and international express delivery based on order volume and urgency. Flexible trade terms are available including EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF upon request. Shipping costs are calculated according to cargo weight, total volume, destination port, and chosen transport method.
Lead Time
Samples :3-7working days
Standard orders:15–25 working days
Customized orders:25–40 working days

Q: How long does sample preparation take?

A: Stock sample: 1–3 business days.

Custom cut or specific temper: 5–7 business days.

Special surface finish or non-standard grade: 7–10 business days.

Shipping time is not included.

Q: What is the MOQ and production lead time?

A: Standard stock: MOQ 500 kg–1 ton per size.

Custom production: MOQ 1–3 tons per grade/finish/size.

Lead time: stock 7–15 days; standard production 20–35 days; custom temper, finish, or width 25–40 days. Urgent orders can be reviewed case by case.

Q: How long does customization take?

A:After specification and deposit confirmation:

Slitting / edging: 5–10 days.

Custom temper / annealing: 10–15 days.

Surface finish (BA, hairline, 8K): 7–15 days.

Total: 25–40 days.

If sample approval is required before mass production, add 5–7 days.

Q: Which stainless steel strip grade is best for automotive exhaust systems?

A: For exhaust tubing, mufflers, and heat shields, use 409 or 439 ferritic strip.

409 is the standard cost-effective choice for oxidation resistance up to about 800°C.

439 offers better high-temperature corrosion resistance and formability.

Recommended: 409 or 439, thickness 0.8–2.0 mm, 2B finish, annealed condition.

For exhaust gaskets, use 410 or 301, thickness 0.2–1.0 mm, 1/2H–FH temper, depending on sealing force.

Do not use 304 for high-temperature exhaust components because of thermal expansion and chloride stress corrosion risk.

Q: What strip specification is recommended for surgical instruments such as bone saws and knives?

A: Use martensitic grades: 420 or 7C27Mo2.

For bone saws and surgical knives, 7C27Mo2 is preferred for high corrosion resistance, toughness, and fatigue strength.

Thickness: 0.10–2.5 mm.

Supply in hardened and tempered condition to 48–56 HRC, depending on edge retention requirements.

For forceps and scissors, use 420 or 410 at 0.5–2.0 mm, 2B finish, then harden.

For corrosion-critical instruments, 316L may be used, but it cannot reach the same edge hardness.
